FAQ’s
How do I prepare for my VI Peel?
You should not be in direct sun or a tanning booth for two weeks prior. You should avoid utilizing chemical hair removal products or waxing your skin five to seven days before treatment. You should stop using Retinol products 48 hours prior to peel.
What can I expect after my VI Peel?
Patients should not touch their face for 4 hours after a VI Peel. Patients will be registered in the VI Peel app and will receive daily instructions for the following week. The post-treatment cream provided to each patient will address the most common affect of itching after the treatment.
Expect peeling for 3-5 days after the treatment (refrain from picking or pulling the skin so redness, irritation, and hyperpigmentation do not occur).
How many VI Peel treatments are needed to get results?
For optimal results, an initial series of 3 peels is advised. The number of treaments required may vary by patient. These peels are typically provided every 4 weeks or alternated with New Leaf Resurfacing treatments for optimal results. For sustained results, ongoing treatment is recommended every 3 months.
